College and Career Exploration Courses

These interactive courses help students identify their interests, explore a range of college and career options, and discover tools to explore colleges, jobs, and post-graduation opportunities that match their goals.

Expand Your College Horizons Workshop

This event gives attendees insight into selective and other unique colleges. In the past, this event has featured guest presenters from Whitman College, Pomona College, the University of Chicago, and more.

College Application Workshop

From crafting strong college essays and preparing for admissions tests to understanding application portals and fee waivers, this workshop equips juniors with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently prepare for senior year and applying to college.

Path to College for 9th and 10th Grade Families

Offered: August before school begins

This event is designed for rising 9th and 10th grade students and their families. Students get advice on how to prepare for college and hear insights directly from a panel of local teachers. Parents learn about the college timeline and how financial aid works.

College within Reach: Paying for College Fair

This event helps middle and high school families understand how to make college affordable. Learn about scholarships, financial aid, saving for college, and other ways to pay - and explore alternatives to traditional college paths. College and community partners, guest presenters, and financial experts offering 1-on-1 advising are hosted to support families at any stage of planning.

Drop-In FAFSA & Financial Aid Workshop

Come for 1-on-1 assistance from financial aid professionals with completing your FAFSA/WASFA and understanding your financial aid options.

Returning Student Forum

At this engaging event, high school students hear directly from local graduates who are now in college. Through small-group conversations, students ask questions and gain real-world insight into college life, including academics, financial aid, housing, campus involvement, and adjusting to a new place.

Scholars Program

Students in the Scholars Program attend monthly All Scholar Meetings and have access to essay workshops, SAT/ACT tutoring, and more. Learn more here!
