February Parent/Guardian Meeting
Are you a parent or guardian supporting a student through the college admissions process?
Don’t go it alone! Palouse Pathways is here to help foster connections among parents and guardians as another resource to support your family through the college admissions process.
Come together, build connections, exchange tips and experiences, and share some laughs! Build a network of mutual support through the often wild and dizzying ride of navigating your student through the college admissions process.
Special guest: Palouse Pathways Founder Peggy Jenkins will be back in town from her new home in Santa Fe and will join us to share her insights and answer your burning questions about the college admissions process. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy great conversation, connect with other parents, and get the inside scoop on topics from from financial aid and scholarships to exploring and choosing a college, and more.

Parking: In addition to street parking on Main St, there is a parking lot behind the building, off Jackson St.

Returning Student Forum
Palouse Pathways is excited to host our annual Returning Student Forum on Monday, December 29 from 12-2 pm in the Great Room of the 1912 Center in Moscow!
This event brings together local high school graduates and current high schoolers for conversations about what college is like. Returning students can reconnect with one another, and high school students can hear firsthand insights about applying for college, financial aid, scholarships, college life, academics and majors, and the transition to college.
Here’s what students can expect:
Round-robin style table conversations where high schoolers meet different groups of college students
Students representing a wide range of schools, including local, regional, and out-of state colleges
Honest discussions about everything from making friends and living in dorms to choosing a college and deciding on a major
Pizza and snacks are provided and we’ll have raffle prizes too!
$10 gas gift cards will be available for all attendees from out of town.
All are welcome, feel free to bring friends!

“College 101” doesn’t have to feel like a lecture. Come get the real scoop on what college is like and how to start your journey there. From applications to everyday student life, this session is designed to give you practical tips, answer your questions, and calm a few nerves along the way.

Inside College Admissions with NYU
Join us for a special presentation with Katie Hindman, Pullman High School alum and Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at NYU.
Katie will walk students and families through the college admissions process, offering insight into how selective schools review applications and what matters most in the decision-making process.
As part of the session, Katie will lead an exciting case study exercise where participants take on the role of an admissions committee and review sample applications to gain firsthand insight into how colleges make admissions decisions.
All high school students and families are welcome to attend!

College Admissions Tests -- What you need to know now
Over the years there have been many changes in College Admissions tests and their role in college admissions. Some tests have gone digital, others have not. Some colleges require them, others don't (and the list changes every year). How do you keep up? Palouse Pathways is hosting a webinar March 20 at 5 p.m. for families in all grades featuring college admissions experts with up to date test information. The panel inclues Allison White, Admissions Representative from University of Chicago; Cassy McKee from Schoolhouse.world; and Jared Rivers, formerly an admissions representative at Cornell and other colleges who now advises students with Collegewise, the world's largest college advising network.You'll learn and get your questions answered.
