Zoom Visit with MIT

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the top schools for math, science, engineering and technology IN THE WORLD. And MIT is also very generous with financial aid for low income students! Find out about MIT at a Zoom session with Trinidad Carney, Associate Director of Outreach for MIT Admissions. She’ll talk about what it’s like to be a student at MIT and about what it takes to gain admission.

Students in all grades and parents are invited to attend!

Trinidad will also tell you about a new Fly-In Program available at MIT —
MIT's Weekend Immersion in Science and Engineering is a three-day program for rising seniors to gain firsthand experience of what it's like to be an MIT student. The program takes place on the MIT campus from Sunday, October 15 through Tuesday, October 17. The application is now open and completed applications are due by Saturday, August 19. The program is especially looking for students from underrepresented and/or underserved backgrounds to apply, including students who come from low socioeconomic means, rural high schools, or who might be the first in their family to attend college.

Hope to see you (virtually) on Monday! The link to join is below.. Email palousepathways@gmail.com if you have any questions!
